These health issues related to stress have become so commonplace, that most of us accept them as part of getting older. We blame our genetics, our job, our commitments, our lack of time and income.
How do you know if stress is affecting your body?

The biggest difference between people that are constantly stressed out, exhausted, and feeling stuck and the people who have energy, feel inspired, healthy and balanced is they have made a commitment to their health and wellness.
How do I know? Not only have I seen it in my practice, but I have experienced it myself. A few years back I was going through the motions of daily life in NYC with dark circles under my eyes, in a constant state of exhaustion and on the fast track toward burnt out. When I got home at night, I laid on the couch, watched Netflix and drank one too many glasses of wine before heading to bed to do it all over again. I had chronic headaches and chronic tendonitis. I felt like a shell of a human. I felt like my passion for massage therapy and the healing arts was slipping away. I didn’t like the road my life was heading down and I knew I needed to take action to change it fast!
What I learned with the help of my own mentor and coach is that when you get really clear on how you want to feel and what you want your life to look like, a whole new world starts to open up for you. Now I wake up every day filled with gratitude for the business and life I have consciously created.
